Roundabout Woodworks began as a thought in 2019 when two great friends began talking about starting a side job for the local festivals and farmers markets providing custom made vintage wooden flags to the locals.  With every idea, the two tried it out and with trial and error, and exploring so many options, the two perfected (with the help and oversight of another great friend, safety first) the appearance and craftsmanship without taking shortcuts. 

          The story behind the name of the company originates from when the two took a trip to England and had a running joke on the number of roundabouts throughout the country, and shortly after, the city of Wilmington, NC followed suit which became more comical. 

          The logo was designed to represent the various sizes of flags we offer, but to forge the partnership, but more importantly, solidify a lifelong friendship between the two.
