Many spinners start with hand spinning and you can’t do it without a spindle. You don’t need a spinning wheel to make yarn.
I can make drop spindles to your exact specifications. Please contact me to arrange for custom work. There is no additional charge.
The choice between top and bottom (or even mid) whorl is really personal preference.
I supply all top whorls with a “cup hook.” If you want a different style of hook, I can accommodate you - no extra charge.
Bottom whorls are flared for a half hitch, but I can add a hook at your request - no extra charge.
